Facility: Humboldt District Health Complex
Job Description: THE SOCIAL WORKER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING PSYCHOTHERAPY AND RELATED INTERVENTION SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS EXPERIENCING SERIOUS DISTRESS OR DYSFUNCTION. THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE IS TO SUPPORT AND STRENGTHEN SOCIAL FUNCTIONING. PREVENTION AND INTERVENTION SERVICES ARE PROVIDED.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Experience
EXPERIENCE IN PROVIDING TREATMENT SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES USING A VARIETY OF TREATMENT MODALITIES. DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON PRIMARY PREVENTION STRATEGIES FOR POPULATION GROUPS IDENTIFIED AS AT RISK.  DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE OF FAMILY SYSTEMS THEORY, HUMAN SERVICE SYSTEMS, REFERRAL PROCEDURE, AND LOCAL RESOURCES.
