Job Description: As a member of the centralized intake team, the incumbent is an integral member of the multidisciplinary team in mental health & addiction services.  The purpose of this position is to represent mental health & addiction services - intake unit to the public and to agencies by providing information, intake assessment, crisis response service, referral, consultation, research and education.  Responsibilities include use of assessment tools, screening, crisis intervention, referral, short term case management, counselling, goal planning, consultation, preparation of reports, data collection and client, family and public education.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Social Work or Licensed Practical Nurse with 4 years experience
Registered or eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body
Experience
Minimum of one year of experience working in an adult Mental Health and Addictions services setting is required.
