Facility: COMMUNITY/PUBLIC HEALTH EAST
Job Description: Reporting directly to the Director of Population and Public Health Services, the Manager of Access Place is responsible to establish, organize and provide leadership to programs pertaining to Infectious Diseases, specifically Sexual Health, HIV and Hepatitis C and Prevention and Risk Reduction Programming.  This position leads and manages employees at Access Place while working in collaborative partnerships with regional and provincial Physicians, community, regional and provincial agencies and systems to achieve program goals.

EDUCATION
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
Licensure or eligible for licensure with SRNA/RPNAS
Knowledge of the management of Communicable Diseases
Knowledge of Public Health primary prevention strategies  
Knowledge of Prevention and Risk Reduction
LEAN Methodology (LILT) training an asset

EXPERIENCE
Minimum five years progressive experience in population health programming
Minimum three years experience in management, supervision and nursing administration
Demonstrated leadership ability
Extensive knowledge of health programs, services, systems and structures in the region, community and province.

FTE: 1.00
