Description

This is an HR generalist role that supports the execution of all HR programs, policies, and processes in alignment with the company priorities. The responsibilities will include:
-Create and execute an effective recruitment and selection process
-Provide orientation and onboarding for new hires
-Support the performance management process for employees and managers (performance evaluations, attendance management, progressive discipline, terminations)
-Provide guidance to management on employee relations issues and employment standards
-Administering the employee benefits program
-Maintaining and monitoring WCB claims and return to work procedures
-Provide administrative support for all HR processes
-Maintaining employee files and information tracking
-Produce HR reporting as needed
We are looking for a strong candidate that has completed post-secondary schooling with a diploma or degree in HR-related principles, practices, procedures and employment legislation; has the ability to work independently or in a team; demonstrates strong relationship building skills; and shows initiative and drive.
