STATUS OF POSITION: Temporary Part Time to August 30, 2012 AVAILABLE HOURS: FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY: 92.12 hours in a 4 week rotation; shifts may include weekend rotation. These conditions may be subject to change (Applicable to part-time staff only: scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.) Summary of duties include: Provides personal care and activities of daily living for clients/patients/residents to encourage optimum level of functioning. Supports clients/patients/residents in meeting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. UNION AFFILIATION: SEIU QUALIFICATIONS: Continuing Care Assistant Certificate from SIAST; or Health Care Aide Certificate from SK Indian Institute of Technology (SIIT); or Personal Care Aide Certificate from Saskatoon Business College (SBC); or an equivalent program. May consider hiring untrained resident attendants who will be required to obtain the SIAST Continuing Care Assistant Certificate or an equivalent program as identified above within two (2) years at hers/his own expense. SALARY: Salary range $19.87 to $21.29 Pay Band #12 |
