Valley View Centre is a residential home to individuals with intellectual disabilities. As part of this rewarding opportunity, you will work independently within a homelike environment providing security services such as: conducting checks on the operations of mechanical systems, locking any doors and securing the facility at night, attending the switchboard and radio system, investigating incidents which may occur and making reports and recommendations, making minor adjustments to mechanical systems,  participating in emergency activities such as fire alarms, and continuous monitoring of the facility for safety hazards and rectifying or reporting to the appropriate authority.   As a team member of the Operational Services Department you will be respectful of the diversity of others and promote a healthy, productive, and safe work environment that is free of discrimination.  Please note this position may be exposed to the risk of violent situations.
