The Metis Addictions Council of Saskatchewan Inc., better known as MACSI, is a non-profit community based provincial organization. Responsibilities for this position include:
1.Greet visitors, handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate persons
2.Use computers for various applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
3.Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals
4.Manage paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents
5.Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions
6.Maintain calendars with programming resources within the centre
7.Complete forms in accordance with company procedures
8.Make copies of programming and other printed material when required to do so
9.Handling incoming deliveries/mail, ensuring that all items are received and distributed to the correct staff members
10.Support staff members in a positive team based manner and assist in creating a warm, home-like climate for clients
11.Ensuring the confidentiality of information related to clients and centre operations
12.Ensure the reception/office area is kept tidy and clean during daily office activities
13.Preparing outgoing mail and correspondence for shipment
14.Creating and compiling Intake files for easy and efficient use by the Addiction Counsellors
15.Recording and distributing minutes for staff meetings within the treatment centre
The Successful Candidate will have a high school diploma as well as a recognized Business Administration Certificate along with strong customer service, administrative, and office technology skills. A relevant combination of education and experience will be highly considered in the selection process.
Schedule will accommodate a minimum of one weekend off in three weeks.
