The Ideal Candidate:

Reporting to the Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following but will not be limited to:  
  Supervision of team members
  Managing team members time card use, including attendance, vacation time and overtime
  Assisting with the selection and orientation of new team members
  Ensuring training that development of team members takes place
  Conducting performance reviews of team members
  Cooperating with all areas within the company to ensure overall company goals are met
  Implementing cost-effective procedures and process improvements
  Ensuring compliance with all safety legislation and procedures
  Conducting team meetings as required
  Forecasting and scheduling to ensure deadlines are met on a continual basis

Candidate must possess the following attributes to be successful:
  Mechanically inclined
  Production, quality and safety orientated
  Ability to multi-task
  Capable of trouble shooting and problem solving
  Strong ability to lead a team and positively engage team members
  Strong planning and organizational skills
** Manufacturing work experience considered an asset.
