Blend Restaurant & Bar is looking for a Front of the House Assistant Restaurant Manager
Full-time position in North Battleford, SK
Salary negotiable depending on previous experience and skills.
Extended medical benefits available after 3 months probation.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Front of the House Assistant Restaurant Manager who is honest, reliable, have a positive attitude and enjoy providing excellent customer service. We require a minimum of 1 year of direct experience in a managing position and several years in other positions in a restaurant. Fluency in English is a must.
Responsibilities
Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
Accomplishes restaurant human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees
Plans menus by consulting with chefs, estimating food costs and profits, and adjusting menus.
Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
Manage restaurants good image and suggest ways to improve it
Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
Maximizes bar profitability by ensuring portion control and monitoring accuracy of charges
Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
Assist supervisors with training of new and current employees on proper customer service practices
Assists supervisors, servers and kitchen staff with their daily duties if needs be.
