Express Employment Professionals, Saskatoon's top rated and most respected, staffing and recruitment agency, is searching for a dynamic Sales Associate for our client in Saskatoon. Our client is a large and well-respected retailer of appliances. Due to increased business opportunity and increasing sales our client is expanding their sales team immediately to keep up with the increased needs and demands of their clients.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, that can build relationships quickly, is flexible, a team player, and ready to take on challenges with enthusiasm and professionalism. Previous appliance sales experience is not required, and our client will provide training.
The Role:
This position will involve 80% sales to contractors like developers and other large multi home and multi-unit builders, and 20% sales to retail customer at the showroom.
5 days a week (one will be Saturday)
8:30 - 5:00 PM
Training Provided
Comprehensive Benefits Package including matching RRSP
Contacts in the "new building" space are clearly an asset.
Compensation:
Base plus commission
Base is $2000/month (non-negotiable)
Total compensation (base plus commission) targeted to be a minimum $70,000 plus. (established sales personnel are making $100K plus in other centers)
Mileage paid for client calls (not part of compensation calculation)
Qualifications:
Must have valid driver's license
Previous sales experience required
Appliance sales not necessary, but certainly an asset
Established relationships with builders and contractors would certainly be advantageous.
