Our Metal Fabricator and Erector Division in Regina requires an experienced Mechanical CAD Designer to provide support for our business. By joining our team, you will be exposed to the CAD Design aspects of both in-house design functions as well as field-orientated installation assignments.
Job Description:
- The primary purpose of this position is to provide computer-based design and drafting services to our Dynamo Metal Fabricators and Erectors Division.
- You will be exposed to the CAD aspects of both in-house mechanical design functions as well as field-orientated installation assignments.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or CAD/CAM
- Proficient in SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, and other applicable CAD design software
- You possess strong organizational skills and have the ability to work under tight time constraints, adapt to change, work alone, as well as flourish in a team environment.
The following experience is considered an asset:
- Structural and mechanical detailing along with the creation of shop drawing
- Working experience in a fabrication shop environment
- Industrial site experience
- Project Management
- Electrical Drafting and Design experience
- Safety training and certifications
- A.Sc.T. designation
