Description

Under the supervision of the  Director of Programs and Program Manager, the Summer Adventure Day Camp Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision, coordination and implementation of the Summer Adventure Day Camp for children and youth as required in keeping with the core values of BGC Canada.

The Summer Adventure Day Camp Program Supervisors duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
    Ensure that the BGC Battlefords provides a safe and caring environment that promotes positive child and youth development, relationships and mentoring opportunities for children and youth.
    To assist and support the Summer Adventure Day Camp Program Manager in overall program development, implementation and evaluation, including daily program preparation, program summaries and facility maintenance, as required. To Supervise Summer Adventure Day Camp Leaders and program participants as well as the overall implementation of programs for children 5-14.
        

    Ensure program facilities and grounds are well maintained and clean at the completion of each program and at days end.

Knowledge and Skills:
         Must be a team player.
         Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
         Must be able to work without close supervision.
         Programming experience, education or training and asset.

Qualifications:
         Current Standard First Aid/CPR C
         Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
