Ophthalmic technician

Our Ophthalmologist Office is looking for a full time technician with a desire to learn and grow in their position while working in a challenging energetic team environment. The Ophthalmic technician will be assisting in using diagnostic equipment to preform patient testing.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

    1) Performing diagnostic eye scans
    2) Collecting medical and patient information
    3) Vision checks
    4) Dilation of patients.

Educational Requirements:

    1) Grade 12 education required
    2) Ophthalmic Assistant, Medical Office Assistant or Medical Administrative Assistant Certificate not required but would be an asset
    3) Accuro software experience would be an asset
