Ophthalmic technician

Our Ophthalmologist Office is looking for 1 part time technician with a desire to learn and grow in their position while working in a challenging energetic team environment. The Ophthalmic technician will be assisting in using diagnostic equipment to preform patient testing.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

    1) Performing diagnostic eye scans
    2) Collecting medical and patient information
    3) Vision checks
    4) Dilation of patients.

Educational Requirements:

    1) Grade 12 education required
    2) Ophthalmic Assistant Certificate, Medical Office Assistant course or Medical Administrative Assistant course not required but would be an asset
    3) Accuro software experience would be an asset
