Description

Kelly Panteluk Construction Ltd. (KPCL) is hiring experienced earthworks supervisors or foremen/ women for the 2021 Construction Season - project to date confirmed near Kindersley, Lake Alma/Minton, Lanigan and Saskatoon. Positions are fulltime seasonal.

Applicants must have:
- Specific knowledge and base road construction experience, including sub-grade prep, sub-base, surface mixing and granular base experience
- Be able to interpret and plan activities to meet engineered drawings and specifications
- Read grade stakes and work with GPS-enabled equipment, ability to troubleshoot an asset
- Operate heavy equipment, which may include loader, grader and skid steer
- Have driver license, clean driver abstract and transportation to get to work
- Pass pre-employment fitness for duty testing

Key duties include:
- Maintain a high level of safety in compliance with HSE program
- Lead and direct employees, equipment, materials and subcontractors
- Maintain timelines, scheduling, planning and coordination of daily activities for the site, calculate trucks required to ensure road productivity goals
- Directly supervise all phases of the project and ensure quality control testing is completed and accurate
- Establish and communicate tasks to ensure all personnel on site clearly understand their respective roles and responsibilities
- Liaise with General Superintendent and effectively communicating and interacting with employer and client engineers, surveyors, HSE advisors and management
- Maintain accurate and detailed daily records of project
- Willingness to travel between jobsites and work overtime when required
- Any other duties as may be assigned
