Description

Express Employment Professionals is searching for 6 "remote-based" IT Help Desk Technical support individuals to start immediately.  

Please Note:  This is a temporary / contract role expected to be about 4 months long
These positions are temporary (up to 4 months).

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS are to:  
o    Provide Help Desk technical maintenance support
o    Install, upgrade and initiate new hardware and software implementation.
o    Ensures network security measures and provisions are maintained.    
MUST HAVE ABILITIES
o    Strong understanding on hardware and software systems
o    Excellent interpersonal skills
o    Must be able to clearly communicate and articulate instructions in English
o    Adept at problem solving

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:  
o    A Certified IT Diploma or IT Technologist Certification or equivalent
o    Previous IT help desk and IT client support experience  

Other day to day duties include:
Troubleshooting & Support:
o    Hardware and software issues experienced by users
o    Hardware and software maintenance support
o    Investigates/analyzes reported problems
o    Network Security
o    Maintaining network accounts
o    Documentation, prioritization and escalations of "tickets"
o    Provides back-up services
Equipment Maintenance:
o    Software and equipment configuration
o    File and data transfer
o    Application certification
o    Proper documentation of all equipment records, changes and upgrades                  
Working Hours:  Monday to Friday  8 am to 5 pm
