Job Description: The Mental Health Therapist is accountable for the provision of integrated mental health and addictions clinical assessment and treatment services to outpatient clientele located in and around the Shellbrook area. The position is accountable to the Manager of Addictions and Integrated Outreach Services and is situated in a multi-disciplinary team that includes
social workers, psychologists, addiction workers, nurses, medical office assistants and psychiatrists. Clinical supervision will be provided by the assigned supervisor for the integrated outreach team in consultation, when needed, with the clinical supervisor of mental health outpatient services. This position is based out of Shellbrook, Saskatchewan with an office at the Parkland Integrated Health Centre.

POSITION DUTIES:
-Provision of integrated mental health and addictions counseling services to outpatient clientele; report preparation, team meetings, maintenance of client records.
-Facilitate educational/informational and or treatment groups
-Consult with other health care providers and community agencies as outlined in the client's treatment plan.
-Advocate for client services
-Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other health care professionals within the organization and community.
-Provide crisis management as needed.
-Administration duties will include completion of weekly work records, monthly activity sheets as it relates to clients and consultation, prior approval forms and other forms as required.
-Actively participate in clinical supervision.
-Participation in quality improvement activities as required.
-Other position related duties as assigned.
Experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Degree in Social Work, Addictions, Psychology or mental health and addictions related discip
