Description

The Energy Team Leader is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a wood fired furnaces, thermal oil heating system DH Propane Heater, Electrified Filter Bed (EFB) pollution control system as well as mill fire protection and water treatment plant to ensure established production levels are achieved within safety, budget, and quality goals.

The incumbent is accountable for the organization and supervision of all energy personnel and activities within the energy area.  This position will be responsible for safe operation of the plant and associated environmental equipment.

Qualifications:
    Minimum of a 3rd Class Power Engineering Certification
    Previous supervisory experience coupled with demonstrated ability to work effectively with others.
    Experience operating automated or computerized control systems.
    Knowledge of thermal oil systems would be an asset.
    Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
    Proficient in MS Office and experience with CMMS
    Experience in hiring and developing diverse team is an asset.
