Description

Westar Group of Companies is based out of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and specializes in aggregate processing, transportation, forestry and earthwork. Westar has an opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced and responsible individual as an Excavator Operator.

Note* Ability and experience operating other heavy equipment will give application more precedence.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
    Report to project managers
    responsible for using the plant to excavate and move earth, rock, vegetation, and debris
smooth and compact surfaces on construction sites and development projects
    Maintain accurate records and logs
    Perform equipment inspections and preventative maintenance   before, during, and after each shift
    Maintain cleanliness of work area
    Problem solving when dealing with unexpected situations
    Must follow all safety procedures

    Qualifications
-Minimum 3-5 excavator experience
