The Team Lead, Student Information Systems (SIS), is the primary accountable position for one of Saskatchewan Polytechnic enterprise-wide Student Services areas. Reporting to the Director, Enrolment Services & Registrar, or their delegate, the Team Lead is responsible for all aspects of development, support and integrity of Enrolment Services student data and how it is entered, manipulated and stored within Saskatchewan Polytechnics student information systems.
The Team Lead supervises a team of specialist staff in the delivery and support of Saskatchewan Polytechnics ERPs, reporting and analytics of student data, and the implementation and revisions of all program curriculums. Given the central role of the Team Lead in the governance of student data and related systems, this position is involved in multiple Enrolment Services and enterprise projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and reporting processes.
It is the responsibility of this position to maintain a high degree of professional knowledge and expertise in the areas of Student Services, other functional areas, program areas, Saskatchewan Polytechnics organizational needs and industry best practices. As well, this position will play a lead role in supporting the organizations reporting obligations to government and other external bodies. The Team Lead will establish and maintain relationships with Saskatchewan Polytechnic stakeholders to maintain accurate and trustworthy student data, effective policies and procedures, and ensure business needs are met in a cost-effective and efficient manner. The Team Lead has a considerable role as a catalyst for change in identifying and implementing options for improving and creating efficiencies in organizational processes.
