The Academy is currently seeking passionate, professional, self-motivated, and reliable individuals to join our teaching staff!
Applicants must have an extensive background in their chosen instrument. Formal schooling is an asset, but not a requirement for interview.
Previous teaching experience and/or experience working with children is not mandatory, but will be taken into account favorably.
Specifically, we are seeking an individual who can (at minimum) teach two to three weekday evenings, 4:00pm - 9:00pm. Beyond that, scheduling is flexible and there is potential for more hours; the Academy runs lessons primarily after school hours on weekdays, and during the daytime on Saturdays. Potential to have up to six teaching days per week, if interested.
This position would begin with training and student transitions at the end of May, and full teaching beginning in June. There is some additional scheduling flexibility over July and August as many students take these months off, with full scheduling responsibilities in place for September 2021.
Vulnerable sector criminal record check required for hire.
