Description

What youll do:
-Demonstrate day to day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen our Co-operatives vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
-Assist guests with item selection and make recommendations based on an inquiring approach
-Perform receiving of merchandise, stocking, operation of point of sale systems, pricing, displaying, selling, conduct inventory counts
-Maintain cleanliness, rotation and order of merchandise and load products into customer vehicles as assigned
-Follow company policies and procedures related to complaints and warranty
-Practice and maintain safe procedures for the handling and stocking of merchandise including plant health by correct care and placement
-Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience  in person and on the phone

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:
-You have a basic knowledge or the willingness to learn about plants and gardening; customer service experience is an asset
-Youre able to work unsupervised, plan and organize your own work
-Youre honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
-Ability to fulfil physical job requirements including extensive manual labour including pushing, pulling, crouching and lifting 50 lbs of force occasionally and 25lbs of force consistently.
-Ability to stand on your feet for 5-10 hours a day on concrete
