Job Description: Reporting to the Manager of Maternal Services the High Risk Antenatal Clinic Coordinator is responsible to develop the program and implement, evaluate and coordinate the specific needs related to pre-natal care of moderate to high risk mothers and their fetuses.
A key element of the program is the Prevention of Alloimmunization in Mothers of Saskatchewan (PRAMS) program aimed to support the management of Rh and other red blood cell and platelet antibody surveillance and Rh alloimmunization prevention. (PRAMS). The program is strongly rooted in the Combined Diabetes Antenatal Clinic and the ongoing assessment of fetal-wellbeing (fetal health surveillance) through gestation up to and including birth.
Experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Diploma/Baccalaureate degree in Nursing Registered, or eligible to be registered with, the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (SRNA) required.
Certification in Fetal Health Surveillance, is an asset
Preference for Diabetes Education Certificate.
Additional training will be required and supported for successful candidates. Preferred electronic medical record, quality improvement and safety experience.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of five (5) years experience as an Obstetrical Registered Nurse.
Ability to adapt to change or unexpected developments.
Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills

Demonstrates culturally competent care and is committed to providing care within a culturally safe health system
Proven communication (both verbal & written) and interpersonal skills required.
