Thyssen Mining is a full service underground mining contractor working predominantly in North America. Thyssen Mining is looking for an energetic and detail oriented individual to join our team in the position of Senior Corporate Accountant at our office in Regina, SK. Reporting to the Controller, the ideal candidate will be expected to prepare monthly financial statements, weekly cash forecasts and assist in the research, preparation and filing of sales and use tax returns.  As our Regina office handles the administration and financial reporting for our numerous subsidiaries throughout North America, the chosen individual will need to possess working knowledge of consolidation and foreign exchange. This is a full cycle accounting position with growth opportunities as the company expands.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

-Chartered Professional Accountant designation or working towards a designation is required
-Ability to adapt to fluid situations in the daily work environment
-Self-motivated to meet stringent deadlines
-Ability to present creative solutions in problem solving
-Financial reporting experience for private organizations
