We are currently  looking for a full time accounting assistant to perform duties at both the Rosetown Mainline & Mainline Chrysler Dealerships. Reporting to the Senior Controller, the Accounting assistant will perform accounts payable, payroll, data entry, and administrative duties at both dealerships.

Responsibilities:
- Perform till reconciliations & make deposit
- Post accounts payable invoices
- Reconcile/Verify accounts payable & make payments
- Maintain employee files & electronic payroll system
- Verify, Enter, and Post semi monthly & monthly payrolls
- Payroll Remittances
- Journal entries & data entry
- Reconciliations
- Administrative duties (mail, report distribution, ect)
- Other duties may be assigned


Requirements of the position:
    Accounting certificate or diploma
    One to Three years of experience in accounting or payroll
    Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
    Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
    Strong attention to detail
    Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, prioritizing and organizational skills
    Knowledge of payroll regulations/employment standards considered an asset
