Description

The Saskatchewan Research Councils Environment and Biotech Division has an opening for a Technologist I to join the Client Services area in the Environmental Analytical Laboratories. This term position is until the end of September 2022.

Accountabilities
    Communicate with clients regarding analytical testing requirements
    Accurate transcription of data  
    Log samples and required analysis into the lab information management system (LIMS)
    Coordinate the shipping of sampling supplies to clients based on their needs
    Provide general administrative support services for clients

Qualifications
    A chemical technology diploma or equivalent
    Experience in client service
    Knowledge of relevant chemical terminology, Microsoft Word and Excel

Skills
    Demonstrated accuracy in data entry and ability to maintain attention to detail
    A team player with effective interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
    Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

The chosen candidate will be required to provide an original Criminal Record Check that is satisfactory to SRC prior to the commencement of any employment duties.  The Criminal Record Check must have been executed within the preceding 30 days of receipt.
