Reporting to the Team Leader, Food, Responsibilities for this position include the following:
-Demonstrate day to day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen our Co-ops vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
-Provide prompt, personalized, Legendary Service to all of our members and guests both in-store and over the phone
-Help develop quality team training and succession plans
-Assist in developing the annual operating budget for the food store that supports the corporate goals
-Provide direction and oversight to the entire team through coaching
-Grow current customer base, through implementing new programs, and overall customer experience
Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:
-You have a Grade 12 and or 2-4 years of experience in management in a retail environment including supervisory experience
-A clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices, and procedures
-High level of integrity and accountability
-A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including a solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
-Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays where necessary
-Ability to fulfil physical job requirements,
-Experience in retail sales especially in the CRS will be considered an asset
