Description

Reporting to the Choiceland Corner Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
-Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen our Co-operatives vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
-Deliver a legendary customer experience while demonstrating a positive, professional approach and attitude
-Maintain a safe and efficient work area while adhering to company policies, procedures and standards including dispensing of propane and fuel and selling of age restricted items
-Load and unload feed, oil and grease, and other Agro products; maintain cleanliness, rotation, storage and order of merchandise in the yard, compound and storage areas
-Perform hydraulic hose repairs, tire repairs and installations and belt repairs and general repair and maintenance of mechanical systems and fuel dispensers
-Assist with the receiving, ordering, operating till systems, conducting inventory counts and maintaining yard and building areas all while completing required paperwork based on department standards
-Perform cashing duties, serve guests, dispense fuel and propane, stock shelves, face shelves and perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:
You are looking for an entry level Customer Service position, and:
-You have grade 12 or equivalent experience; agricultural and mechanical experience is an asset
-Youre able to work unsupervised, plan and organize your own work
-Youre honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
-You have a valid drivers license and must be willing to obtain forklift ticket and propane dispensing certification
-You are able to work a variety of shifts from opening to day shifts to closing shifts including a weekend rotation
-You are capable fulfilling physical job requirements including extensive manual labour including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, crouching and lifting 10  25 lbs constantly and 25  75 lbs occasionally
