Description

Melfort Housing Authority manages a property and program services portfolio on behalf of Saskatchewan Housing Corporation. The Housing Authority provides affordable housing to seniors, families, and others, who could not otherwise access safe, secure shelter within Melfort and the neighboring communities.

The Housing Authority has an opportunity for a self-motivated, results oriented individual for a term from May  September 2021.    The responsibilities are varied, ranging from general cleaning of common areas at the various Housing Authority properties to assisting staff at the Housing Authority office with administrative tasks including filing and archiving.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Minimum Grade 12, or equivalent.
Knowledge and experience with the Microsoft office suite including Excel.
Knowledge of and experience with common cleaning products.
Positive personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, efficiency, time management and good judgment.
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and work amongst tenants and the public.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently and meet deadlines.
Recognition of, and respect for, people's diversity.
A reliable vehicle and cell phone are required.
WHMIS training is an asset.

This is a full time, seasonal term position to work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week.

The position is expected to start as soon as possible with a term from May  September 2021.
Salary range is under review.  

Expected Start Date:   As soon as possible.
