Description

Reporting to the Program Director, each Program Manager will be responsible for leading programs and overseeing the coordination, implementation, and management of workplans, goals and objectives under their portfolio. Additionally, they will be required to establish, maintain, and strengthen partnerships.

One Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing programs that are directly related to Indigenous women and 2SLGBTQ+ programs. The other Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing SaskCulture funding that looks at youth, language, Knowledge Keepers and Friendship Centre sustainability.

RESPONSIBILITIES
    Overall management and administration of programs
    Serve as liaison and point of contact for projects
    Maintain up to date master workplan, calendar and related records detailing all programming and activities
    Coordinate and assist with grant reporting by collecting data, recording, and reporting all relevant activities of the project
    Work with leadership team to conduct program assessment and complete strategic plans
    Increase audience, knowledge retention, and participation by providing innovative delivery methods
    Develop and implement campaigns to increase address urban Indigenous issues
    Willingness to travel for work, when safe to do so given public health orders
    Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned
REQUIREMENTS
    Demonstrated experience development and implementation of programs and training and financial management
    Knowledgeable about urban Indigenous realities and resources available
    Ability to work with diverse populations, especially Indigenous communities
    Ability to remain objective while having discussions around sensitive topics
    Strong written; analytic; interpersonal communications; public speaking; and time management skills
    Ability to maintain confidentiality, honesty, and strong ethical reasoning
