Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Advanced interpersonal skills
Advanced organizational skills
Leadership skills
Ability to adapt to changing conditions
Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Advanced assessment skills
Time management skills

Required Qualifications Continued:
Significant nursing experience of at least 3-5 years in a psychiatric or mental health setting.
Valid drivers license and ability to travel.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Sound knowledge of the Mental Health Services Act and Regulations
Excellent knowledge of proven models of Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery
Expertise and Experience in Seniors Mental Health care is a definite asset .
Proven ability to work effectively within an Integrated multidisciplinary team
Proven effective communication skills
Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office word and excel.

Other Information:
This position is currently based in North Battleford but will provide service to Meadow Lake and surrounding area as designated. Travel is a requirement of this position.

This is a designated field hours position.
Expected Start Date: May 10, 2021
Expected Up To Date: May 10, 2022
FTE: 1.00

Hours of Work: In a 6 week rotation: 28 shifts of 8.00 hours
