Restorex Disaster Restoration provides property restoration for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. We specialize in emergency services for water, fire and smoke restoration. We are now recruiting for a skilled and experienced Construction Manager and are looking for safety minded individuals who take pride in their work to join our Regina team.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Manage a staff of 10+ construction employees
Control and evaluate projects according to schedule specifications and budget
Coordinate and schedule staff and sub-trade workers for each project
Oversee workers and trades to ensure a high level of quality and safety
Oversee the organizing, directing and controlling of day-to-day activities of the job sites
Mitigate any issues that may arise during the course of a project
Monitor and lead in progress of construction
Work and coordinate with our other department managers in scheduling and progression on projects
Ensure contract objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards are met in accordance with company policy and contract specifications
Report on and communicate project updates to stakeholders including the client
Collection of amounts owing for deductibles, and other receivables
Knowledge and skills:
Minimum 5 years experience managing construction projects
Leadership and the ability to work with a team, as well as independently
Customer service skills and professionalism
Extended experience and general knowledge in the construction industry
Strong computer skills
Self-motivated and organized
Attention to detail
Problem solving skills
Communication skills
Additional requirements:
Valid drivers license and bondable
Criminal record check and drivers abstract
