The Good Spirit School Division invites applications for a temporary part-time Educational Assistant (EA) at Canora Composite School. EAs support student learning in the classroom environment and other educational settings. These dynamic individuals support teachers and school teams in meeting the diverse learning needs of students.  EAs are valuable members of a team which collaborates to promote student learning, well-being and success.

This position is a temporary part-time position of 3 hours per day in accordance with the EA school calendar. The position commences on April 28, 2021 and will expire on June 28, 2021.  The work schedule will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Rest periods will be scheduled in accordance with AP 403 Appendix B - Rest Periods and the current collective bargaining agreement.

The successful candidate will have the desired qualifications:
Minimum Grade 12 Diplomaor equivalent.
Acute attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility and the ability to work as a team member will be considered assets.

Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate will be paid on a monthly basis at an hourly rate from $17.33 - $22.40 plus applicable vacation pay.
