Description

Plan, organize and implement programs for children between the ages of infancy to 5 years of age. The worker will lead children in activities to stimulate and develop the child's intellectual, physical and emotional growth while ensuring their security and well-being.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Administrative Duties
2.      Program Development, planning and implementation
3.    Staff Supervision
4.    Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the childs physical, cognitive, emotional and social developmental needs.
5    Ensure guidance of childrens behavior that encourages positive self-concept
6.    Provide information to the family regarding any incidents, development, and progress.
7.    Maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping and cooking duties.
8.    Attend staff/program planning meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
9.    Other duties as requested.
