The La Loche Housing Authority has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Supervisor.  If you are ambitious and skilled in building and property maintenance, we'd love to hear from you!  Reporting to the Manager of La Loche Housing Authority, you will:
- manage the day to day operations of the Housing Authority maintenance program
- tender and oversee contracted work to ensure work is completed to standard
- develop and deliver an effective preventative Maintenance Program.

We are looking for someone with:
- knowledge of the basic techniques employed in a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, painting, flooring and electrical
- experience in estimating, materials purchasing, accounting, budget preparation, as well as supervising, planning and coordinating employees and work tasks.

What you'll need:
- Grade 12 with some post-secondary in business or technical/trade training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- self-motivation, the ability to handle stress and work independently
- the ability to lead a team
- a valid driver's license and a reliable, roadworthy vehicle
- the ability to organize and participate in an on-call program for emergencies for evening, weekend and holiday coverage

A Criminal Record check will be required.
