Job Order Detail

Description

The suitable candidates will be able to perform the following duties:
    Box, bag, wrap, or gift-wrap merchandise
    Compute and record totals of transactions
    Count money at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate cash/change
    Count money in cash drawers at the end of shifts to ensure they balance
    Establish or identify prices of goods and services, and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scanners
    Greet customers entering establishments
    Oversee the store's front-end with respect to loss-prevention
    Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
    Process / inspect merchandise returns and exchanges
    Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards
    Assist / listen to customer
    Re-order stock/inventory when needed
    Stock shelves, and mark prices on shelves and items
    Other work-related duties as requested by immediate supervisor

The suitable candidates will possess the following qualifications:
    Minimum Grade 10 education.
    Able to work with minimal supervision
    Multi-tasking multiple customers & situations time to time
    Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
    Able to work well under pressure and busy customer atmosphere occasionally
    Must be able to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check.
