Duties:The Maintenance Worker/Handyman efficiently and safely maintains the interior and exterior of school division buildings and grounds and assists trade personnel and facility operators in the day-to-day maintenance and operations of Division facilities.

Education & Qualifications:
A minimum of a Grade 10 diploma from a recognized educational institution as approved by the Board of Education or General Educational Development (GED)
A minimum of three (3) years experience in the construction industries or building trades
Ability to work independently
Proficient use of smart phone, tablet and other technology
A valid Class 5 drivers license

Physical Requirements:
The ability to do heavy work is required (i.e., exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects).The ability to work off lifts, in crawlspaces, attics, roofs, and ladders is required
