Administrative Assistant
Reports to: Director of Manufacturing
Full time/Permanent
Job Summary: to answer customer inquiries and provide quotes for powder coating.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Answer customer phone and email inquiries
Prepare quotes for customers
Provide pricing to customers
Work with the finance department to provide invoices to customers
Work with the finance department to accept and apply for customer payments
Schedule job priorities
Communicate time lead times to customers
Communicate that products are ready for shipment
Follow up on deliveries to ensure quality and happiness of the customer
Schedule truck runs & pickup and delivery
Work with Supply Chain on inventory needs
Pack list jobs
Tag jobs with work order numbers
Provide customer service functions with help and support from the Regional Sales Manager
Maintain contract lists
Prepare reports for the management team
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Ability to understand basic mechanical and manufacturing techniques
Knowledge of powder coating procedures and equipment an asset
Commitment to health and safety
