Job Description: The Specialist provides direction to HRBPs and business unit managers on complex workforce planning and employment issues, which often have region wide implications (i.e. changes to legislation, CBAs, Ministry of Health directives, provincial recruitment challenges, selection and/or salary inquiries). The Specialist operates within a constantly changing environment as a result of three provincial bargaining agreements, the nature of labour law, the re-organization of client care groups and departments, the amalgamation of affiliate organizations, on-going organization real, and changing workforce demographics.
Specialists must be cognizant of regional, provincial and national recruitment issues, work place cultures, organizational goals and plans, corporate direction and the interdependency of the services that make up the Authority while working closely with operational leaders to ensure the Human Resources available will meet the needs of the new Capitol Projects in La Ronge & Prince Albert Victoria Hospital and any others that are being supported by the Specialist.

The Specialist requires advanced knowledge to utilize and navigate multiple HR Information Systems and applications for complex and timely issue resolution. Providing leadership, preparation and presentation of strategic and operational reports on human resource issues by providing statistics, analysis, recommendations and implementation plans (i.e. HR performance indicators). Create strategic recruitment plans and strategize to remove barriers to meeting the staffing requirements required including hard to recruit positions.
Required Qualifications

Licensed and in good standing with regulatory body, if applicable
Undergraduate degree or diploma in Commerce/Business Administration/Human
