Summary
*In house staff canine behavior training.
*Co-coordinating and planning training sessions
for evenings and weekends.
*Working with other trainers with the booking
of the Centre.
*Keeping up to date with the current dog
behavior trends.
Salary will vary depending on experience.
Job Duties:
Teaching staff, clients and one on one
sessions.
Running and/or organizing classes.
Working with dogs in daycare for
lessons.
Experience with or willing to learn the
work with
reactive/fearful/anxious/aggressive
dogs.
Share and create educational materials.
Keep detailed training records and
follow up with clients.
Supervising small playgroups.
Helping track and maintain facility
training needs.
Requirements:
You must have at least 3-5 years
experience
You must be bondable.
You must be mature, responsible,
dedicated, and a true dog lover.
You must have excellent interpersonal
skills and have the ability to work
with clients to understand their unique
needs.
You must be comfortable and experienced
working with dogs of all ages, sizes,
and breeds.
You must be flexible for evening and
weekend training classes if required.
You must be incredibly reliable. We
will expect that you will not cancel or
move appointment times.
You must be able to work with little
supervision and be able to manage your
time accordingly.
You must have common sense and good
decision making skills.
