Meridian is searching for a full-time, permanent Administrative Assistant to complement our Projects Team.
Your Purpose:
The purpose of the Administrative Assistant is to provide support to the Projects team by facilitating the flow of information so that projects run smoothly. The role also provides exemplary customer service to Meridians clientele and coordinates all post-construction service work.
What You Will Be Doing:
Your day will consist of general administrative work such as drafting agreements and other documents, following up directly with subcontractors on document submission, managing the flow of overseas orders, and other tasks as needed in order to keep projects on schedule. You will play a lead role in managing service and warranty requests post construction and provide extraordinary customer service to our clientele as per Meridian standards.
How You Will Succeed:
You have exceptional customer service skills and communicate clearly with others in a wide array of situations. You are highly organized and able to keep track of multiple moving parts while maintaining strong attention to detail. You have an understanding of the move in process and issues that may arise post possession. You take initiative in identifying problems before they happen and find solutions that maintain client satisfaction as top priority.
What You Will Need:
Certificate or diploma in Office Administration
Minimum of 3 years experience in an administrative role
Experience working in the construction management industry an asset
Advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
Extensive customer service experience
Effective verbal and written communication skills
