We are the leading fast paced fluid power company in Saskatoon and Regina. We are seeking team players who enjoy a collaborative team environment. Currently we have openings for Hydraulic Technician in our facility in Regina.
This position involves disassembling, inspection and assembly of all kinds of hydraulic components such as hydraulic cylinders , pumps, motors, control valves, drive, motors , gear boxes and hydraulic power units. Hydraulic technician are also required to have the knowledge of different kinds of pumps, motors and all the process of repairing hydraulic components and able to read repair manuals and do the job accordingly.
This position requires individuals with 3 to 5 years experience with hydraulic system and components.
Key Responsibilities & Job Requirements for Hydraulic Technician
Performs hydraulic repair on all kinds of hydraulic components in accordance with instruction and Plant Managers instructions.
perform all details of operation including cleaning , disassembling , inspection , polishing ,timing , resealing, assembling & testing the components
organizing the designated area and all tools assigned to this duty
Due to the importance of this job being focused and paying attention to the details is an important part of this job .
* Must have a basic understanding of complete hydraulic systems.
* Have a strong mechanical aptitude.
* Ability to inspect, repair, and test hydraulic components including pumps, motors, and valves.
* Ability to diagnose the failure of the component and provide a written estimate for the Service Writer to present to the customer.
* Ability to do light machining and lapping.
* Must have a basic understanding of complete hydraulic systems.
* Formal fluid power training is an asset.
* Experience with piston pump/motor repairs would definitely be an asset.
* All other tasks deemed necessary by management.
