Description

We are currently seeking a motivated Journeyman Autobody Technician to join our team.

You are a good fit if you are:

- Autobody Refinish Technician or Body Technician
- Autobody prepper
- Apprentice Painter
- Autobody Journeyman Painter
- Autobody Journeyman Technician
- NO APPRENTICES

REQUIREMENTS:

- Those with an Autobody Journeyman ticket in paint and/or bodywork
- MUST have prepper/painter/technician experience
- MUST have I-CAR training
- MUST have a valid drivers license
- NICE TO HAVE 3 years autobody technician or painter experience (as a registered apprentice)
- NICE TO HAVE strong customer service skills
- ABLE to organize and keep shop looking presentable
- ABLE to review damage reports
- ABLE to manage your daily workload
- WORKING KNOWLEDGE to replace front end components, body components, door and frame, and underbody components
- WORKING KNOWLEDGE to file, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
- WORKING KNOWLEDGE to hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers
- WORKING KNOWLEDGE to remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills
- WORKING KNOWLEDGE to apply primers and repaint surfaces
- WORKING KNOWLEDGE to repair or replace interior components

 

Skills and Abilities

Transportation/Travel Information
 - Own transportation
 - Valid driver's licence
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
 - Motor Vehicle Body Repairer Trade Certification
