Description

We have an immediate opening for an IT Technician, working out of our Head Office in Hague. Some work will be required at our Warman location.

Zak's operates two Home Hardware Building Centres (in Hague and Warman), along with Zak's Building Group's contracting divisions:
- Ready-to-Move and On-Site Homes and Cottages
- Barns, Shops, Pole and Commercial Buildings
- Renovations & Custom Cabinets

Position Details:
- Provide day-to-day support for desktops, laptops, smartphones, tablets, printers, network, phone systems, photocopiers, software,  and email-related issues.
- Manage the configuration, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software applications (e.g., Management Software, Point of Sale Software, etc.), and networks.  
- Test, build and configure new technology to ensure compatibility with and impact upon existing applications and projects.
- Maintain and update IT procedures and technical documentation, ensuring they are consistent.
- Provide support via telephone, e-mail, written and/or in-person requests from users.
- Support and/or deliver end-user training when needed.
- Work together with Retail Manager and Ownership on future IT needs of the company

Desired Technical Skills:
- Ability to manage Office 365
- Understanding of Point of Sale Software
- Working knowledge of Cisco and Meraki network hardware
- Ability to manage Windows Network Environment
- Experience with group policy and active directory an asset
