Description

The position provides effective leadership, management and direction to ensure:
- Meaningful and beneficial partnerships and alliances with local, provincial, and national stakeholders and funders are developed and successfully managed.
- Government and non-government revenues including grants, sponsorships, and investment programs are secured and value is delivered for all parties.
- Existing partnerships with stakeholders and funders are nurtured and serviced as contractually obligated.

This role is accountable to ensure alignment with the corporate vision, strategic and corporate business plans and commitment to excellence and customer service. The position will include the following responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of specific stakeholder and partnership development initiatives.  Act with intention toward the priorities and be accountable for producing results that will have lasting, prosperous effects.
- Contribute to development and monitoring of overall organizational priorities, imperatives, plans and budgets.
- Develop, engage, and steward ongoing relationships with key partners and stakeholders including corporate, industry, government and funding partners, and support their connection to EDR programs and community.
- Lead the successful delivery of EDRs third-party funding strategy including the Investment Partnership Program, government grants, event sponsorships, project sponsorships, and other opportunities.
- Collaborate with relevant EDR team members to identify and develop new partnerships, funding prospects and opportunities, including managing and executing government grant applications and follow-ups; and monitoring EDR planned initiatives and events to determine available opportunities for new partner/stakeholder engagement.
- Implement and manage effective stewardship and recognition strategies with partners, including all servicing of partnership and funding agreements.
