Description

Northwest School Division requires a full-time permanent Transportation Officer.   This position will start immediately, or on a mutually agreed upon date.  This position is located in Turtleford, SK.

The Transportation Officer will be under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of Transportation.  Primary duties will include training, support and evaluation of the Divisions bus drivers; collaboratively working to design & implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient transportation operation; and assuming all duties in the absence of the Supervisor of Transportation.

The successful candidate must possess a Grade 12 diploma.  College or University education and/or experience in a transportation setting would be an asset.  The successful applicant must have held an experienced class 5 drivers license for a minimum of five years and be committed to obtain a school bus endorsement.  The ability to work independently yet take direction well will be a benefit to this position.
