RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Maintain good knowledge of till and cash-related duties
- Organize merchandise, working efficiently and prioritizing tasks to maintain quality and appearance of merchandise
- Selling, loading and recording feed in accordance to CFIA regulations.
- Stock & display products to present a neat, clean, well-merchandised department.
- Provide gas pump, lumber, chemical, and propane services.
- Maintain and clean equipment regularly.
- Help maintain Pioneer Co-op image by cleaning up garbage in the yard, cutting grass, weed wiping, chem spraying (with supervisor), snow and ice removal.
- Pick, prepare & deliver crop supply products. Also assist with inventory counting.
- Assist with inventory control, receiving & merchandising of products
- General housekeeping duties, presenting a clean, well-merchandised store.
- Operate forklift.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will display good customer service skills and enjoy working with the public. Drivers License & ability to operate a Forklift required. Must be able to work efficiently, independently, and assume responsibility. Farm knowledge considered an asset. Involves lifting. Must be willing to work all shifts, including weekends. This position is classified as a Safety Sensitive Position: therefore, is subject to pre-employment Alcohol & Substance testing as a condition of employment. Averages 24 40 hours.
