Description

Express Employment Professionals is searching for an IT Helpdesk & Support Technician located in Prince Albert, SK. This is a temporary / contract role expected to be about 4 months long.
The Primary Job Functions are to:
    Provide Help desk technical maintenance and support
    Install, upgrade and initiate new hardware and software implementation.
    Ensure network security measures and provision are maintained.
Must have abilities:
    Strong understanding on hardware and software systems
    Excellent interpersonal skills
    Must be able to clearly communicate and articulate instructions in English
    Adept at problem solving
Qualifications Required:
    A Certified IT Diploma or IT Technologist Certification or equivalent.
    Previous IT help desk and IT client support experience.
Other day to day activities Include:
Troubleshooting & Support:
    hardware and software issues experienced by users.
    hardware and software maintenance support
    Investigates/analyzes reported problems.
    Prioritizes competing problems.
    Network security
    Maintaining network accounts.
    Documentation, prioritization and escalations of "tickets"
    Provides back-up services
Equipment Maintenance:
    Software and equipment configuration
    File and data transfer
    Application certification
    Proper documentation of all equipment records, changes, and upgrades.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday  8 am to 5 pm
