BAR is seeking an enthusiastic, results-driven networker to join our team as our Business Development Lead. Your primary responsibilities will be to foster relationships with current clients and to identify and secure new business opportunities for BAR Engineering.
Responsibilities
-Build and support productive partnerships based on mutual benefits for the client and BAR
-Collaborate with managers, shareholders, and directors to formulate strategies and plans that will forward the business of the company
-Generate new leads with the aim of creating more business and identifying future opportunities
-Work with department managers to help prepare project proposals
-Prepare and deliver presentations to clients
-Attend conferences, meetings, tradeshows, and industry events to gain knowledge and promote the company
Qualifications
-Bachelors Degree from an accredited university along with industry knowledge would be an asset
-Minimum 5 years of business development experience is preferred.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
-Strong collaborative leadership skills
-Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
-Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and peers
-Skilled at initiating cold calls and closing deals with clients
