Description

The Community Sports Coach Coordinator will coach and coordinate sports activities for the youth of Kahkewistahaw First Nation.  They will develop positive relationships with the children and parents and promote a healthy lifestyle while ensuring athletes are in good mental and physical health.  They will coach teams, develop programs, supervise athletes, and adhere to the polices as per the Kahkewistahaw Sports programs. They will analyze trends in recreation programming, community attitudes, programs being offered, program requests, socio-economic issues, population age groupings, and other factors in program planning. This position is intended to be a flexible schedule that allows time to be spent for the school and community sports.
